Anthony Orme, B.S.P, B.P.A.G, F.I.G.A, was born in Manchester, England in 1945. Attending art college he specialised in the study of life drawing and still life.

It was apparent from a very early stage that he was naturally skilled. With great enthusiasm Anthony embarked on a life long crusade to strive for perfection whilst seeking to personalise his own style of painting.

Sweeping expressions of light and bright colours breathe an air of romanticism into his "ballet" and "city life" scenes. A gentle blending of pastel produces depth of feeling that falls perfectly on the eye and never fails to stimulate the observer.

Even a brief viewing of Anthony's work will demonstrate his attention to meticulous detail which is the result of many years of study and familiarity with the subject matter.

The new collection of limited edition Gilclee prints demonstrate a crescendo of colour and vibrance that is unrivalled and proves Anthony's reputation as a master artist.

Most of Anthony's work is sold to collectors in the USA, Japan, Australia and North America.

During his career Anthony has been invited to join the "British Society of Painters", the "British Guilds of Artist in Print", and was made a Fellow of the "International Guild of Artists".
